This was taken outside the church where one of the Eagle Scout candidates had a Concert for the Homeless this past Friday night. Not ten minutes later, I got drenched out of nowhere!
It looks ominous, but here in Florida, you can SEE the rain coming down-this is one of those cases.

Always interesting to look at the sky around here. It almost makes up for the fact that we don't see as many stars as we did back in Maryland...

Not quite sure who coined the nickname "Sunshine State". We actually don't get very much sunshine! California, yes. Florida? Noooo....

Webmaster Alex speaks Anonymously

**Please note, this post was written in 2008, over 7 years ago.  This is not current, but remains to detail the DISboards bannings.** The other day, I wrote of my banning from the Disboards, a site I belonged to for six years. I was banned for participating in another site, as were approximately 35 others. The list will be posted further in this entry. If you skip this post because it doesn't mean anything except to the participants, I don't mind. This is mainly out there for the hundreds (over 7,500 now!**) of Google searches that have been directed to my blog since the bannings. Lord knows, anytime anyone asks a question on the Disboards, it'll be poofed faster than you can say "delete." Curiously, I received an anonymous comment that rambled on and on. Glad that I'm not "Guilty By Association" on this one

I thought I was done with the DISboards stuff, really I did. However, the hypocricy and racism displayed by Webmaster Pete and others on a memorial show is deplorable. Sadly, all it does is show that the man who died is the only one who has some scruples among the staff. I'm awaiting some You Tube links to the entire unedited podcast and then an edited link to just the racism portion. In the meantime, I'm posting the transcript of the 'tribute' to Bob.
