BlogHer '09

By the end of the month, I'll know where BlogHer '09 will be held. I plan on attending next year, so the polling caught my attention.

Alas, Denver and the lure of sleeping on Sarah's couch won't happen. The front runners are:
Portland
St Louis
Philadelphia
I haven't been to two of those places, so the odds are that it will be held someplace new and exciting to me.

What about you? If you're a BlogHer member, are you going?

If not, have you traveled to these locales? Tips for the traveler? If you live in one of these towns, what should a visitor see?

I'm trying to plan ahead. WAY ahead, lol...

I signed up for BlogHer but they said they were full? A don't call us, we'll call you? Was that just for running the ad or for the event? I would so dig going next year!!

I'm from MO and have spent lots of time in STL. Of course, you must go to The Arch, Eat at one of the fabulous Italian resturants on "The Hill", go to Ted Drewes for some frozen custard, visit the botanical gardens, the zoo and science center are free, if you have an urge to gamble there are casinos on both sides of the river. The possibilities are endless.

I don't know much about the other cities but if Blogher goes to STL you shouldn't ever be bored, and as a foodie you should never be hungry.

Grandy, if you signed up for having ads on your blog, keep trying. They'll periodically close it out-or if you did it early on, they may have waited to see if you'd stick to it. :)

MM, Thanks for the info. Silly me, I forgot that Ted Drewe's is in STL, and that place is on my list of places to try. I will check out The Arch, too. Honestly, I've been through Philly several times, but haven't actually done the tourist thing, so any of the three will be good. They'll definitely provide good blog fodder!
