So, This is What Happened...

I was carrying on an IM conversation with my brother in law, Joe, yesterday morning. He was doing what he does best, cracking me up. It was too good not to share, so I told him I was cutting and pasting it into a blog post.

I did, then set about typing explanations of what the non sequitirs of our conversation were about. At 7am, I got up from the computer and woke Chef from his slumber. And promptly forgot that it was in draft mode.

So, gentle readers. It is time stamped in my Dashboard as originating on Tuesday. Does it count as a Tuesday post? When it goes up in a few minutes, it will enter the blog on the date of origin, not the date posted.

Is the streak unbroken? You decide.

I really don't think it's broken either. You wrote a post, it was ready to post, it should've been posted.....it's not like you got so busy that you never got around to writing one, or you forgot to write one, or you were sick and slept away your day to the point of missing your daily deadline. It just wasn't posted....write it off as a glitch or "technical difficulties" that it was never actually posted on the right day and keep up your daily writing as you have been. :)

I'm in agreement with the streak unbroken camp. We'll call it a temporary technical glitch!! :)

You can go into the Post Options (under the html edit window and, I think, it's there under the 'Compose' window, as well) link and change the date and time of a post to be ANYTHING you want it to be - so no, the string does NOT have to be broken.

Most sick people would be concerned with feeling better...but you're worried about missing a day of blogging?! Silly lady! You're sick and certainly not up to par...give yourself a break.

Hope you're feeling better! :)
