Virus Alert!!!

In the past week, I've had two attempts at infecting my machine with viruses, and a friend's machine got infected with a trojan keylogger.

Please, please, PLEASE-do NOT open any attachments if you are unsure of what they are.

The ones I received:

On Facebook: You got so buusted by our tiiny spy camera..

Via email: Robin sent you some photos via Tagged.

Let's be careful out there, folks. If it's coming to you and you're not expecting it or are unfamiliar with the link, treat it as you would an unsolicited email from your bank/ebay/amazon/paypal and avoid it until you can verify with the person sending it.

More than likely, they're sending an email around to tell you NOT to open that email! Such is the case with both items sent my way. The Facebook one, I actually opened the email, but not the 'click this link to see', because it didn't seem kosher.

Just spreading the word in case you haven't had this happen to you...

Oh I've gotten the tagged emails but didn't know the names of who had "sent" them. Thank you for the warning!! Happy Sunday lovely lady!! :)

Robin, I got two more today-and not from people you know, so it wouldn't be a domino effect. It's spreading.

Wal Mart Your Zone $500.00 Gift Card Contest!

For several months now, I have participated in WalMart 's Beyond Eleven Moms, a collective of bloggers who partner with WalMart to give feedback on products already in stores and ideas about products that the company can offer in their stores. Last month, I was approached to help test out a new product line in the stores. Webmaster Alex speaks Anonymously

**Please note, this post was written in 2008, over 7 years ago.  This is not current, but remains to detail the DISboards bannings.** The other day, I wrote of my banning from the Disboards, a site I belonged to for six years. I was banned for participating in another site, as were approximately 35 others. The list will be posted further in this entry. If you skip this post because it doesn't mean anything except to the participants, I don't mind. This is mainly out there for the hundreds (over 7,500 now!**) of Google searches that have been directed to my blog since the bannings. Lord knows, anytime anyone asks a question on the Disboards, it'll be poofed faster than you can say "delete." Curiously, I received an anonymous comment that rambled on and on.
