Still no working internet, despite having a Cat 5 cable that shows all 8 contacts working.

A friend a mine had a similar problem as this tonight. He and his wife moved from ST. Pete to Plant City and asked if I would help them unpack their uhaul so I did. Brighthouse came over to install internet. It wasn't coming through and we found that the Brighthouse side was working but not the computer side. Turns out that he needed to reset his router. Once he did that they got bandwidth and all is good in the house. lol.

When You Think It Can't Get Any Worse, Life Dumps More Crap on Us

Some serious crap, too. Since last year, I've not written about a certain family member because she was giving Ed grief that I wasn't sensitive to her health issues. More like, I don't raise the white flag at whatever life throws at me, and my personal need to find out everything about a health issue that pertains to me or a loved one goes directly against her nature. She'd rather give up than try. Right now, I'm scared, angry and don't know what to do. The silence here about someone was okay-until it hit MY household. Last Thursday, I received a phone call at 5:05 to 'come look at Jane's leg'. She's had venous stasis ulcers for about two months. That may sound familiar, because I had two of them that were detailed here on the blog. Why I was called, and not her doctor, I don't know. **Please note, this post was written in 2008, over 7 years ago.  This is not current, but remains to detail the DISboards bannings.** The other day, I wrote of my banning from the Disboards, a site I belonged to for six years. I was banned for participating in another site, as were approximately 35 others. The list will be posted further in this entry. If you skip this post because it doesn't mean anything except to the participants, I don't mind. This is mainly out there for the hundreds (over 7,500 now!**) of Google searches that have been directed to my blog since the bannings. Lord knows, anytime anyone asks a question on the Disboards, it'll be poofed faster than you can say "delete." Curiously, I received an anonymous comment that rambled on and on.
