This is Supposed to Be the Easy Semester



Normally, this would be the quiet week of rest and relaxation between the spring and summer semesters.
That's not the case this year. The class I TA started Monday, and each day, more stuff I need to do crops up. I'm getting the impression things will remain hectic until I walk across the stage August 4th-only to start back up two weeks later.
Which reminds me, I'm supposed to email the graduate school to move my application from one department to the other. Otherwise, I'll be considered non-degree seeking in the fall. Not exactly what I want. :)

Wal Mart Your Zone $500.00 Gift Card Contest!

For several months now, I have participated in WalMart 's Beyond Eleven Moms, a collective of bloggers who partner with WalMart to give feedback on products already in stores and ideas about products that the company can offer in their stores. Last month, I was approached to help test out a new product line in the stores. Many retailers offer room decor for youngsters and college students, but affordable furniture, bedding and decor for teens was hard to find. Enter Your Zone ! Webmaster Alex speaks Anonymously

**Please note, this post was written in 2008, over 7 years ago.  This is not current, but remains to detail the DISboards bannings.** The other day, I wrote of my banning from the Disboards, a site I belonged to for six years. I was banned for participating in another site, as were approximately 35 others. The list will be posted further in this entry. If you skip this post because it doesn't mean anything except to the participants, I don't mind. This is mainly out there for the hundreds (over 7,500 now!**) of Google searches that have been directed to my blog since the bannings. Lord knows, anytime anyone asks a question on the Disboards, it'll be poofed faster than you can say "delete." Curiously, I received an anonymous comment that rambled on and on.
