Vixen tagged me for this meme a very long time ago. I didn't find it until a month after she'd tagged me, and I forgot to post it held it in reserve to use on a day like today.

1. Finishing this moving thing
2. Relaxing in a pool after all the moving
3. Getting all the studying for my motivation exam done
4. Heading to New York in May
5. Visiting friends while in New York and Maryland
6. Registering for Summer and Fall classes so that I can GRADUATE in December
7. Sleeping on a new bed that doesn't hurt

1. Moved a bunch of kitchen gear
2. Ran another stupid errand for Jane
3. Went to Wal Mart (three times, woohoo)
4. Washed new sheets for the new bed (new and improved bigger bed means bigger sheets)
5. Took my Developmental Psychology exam
6. Told someone off for the fact that I only hear from her when she needs something
7. Ate french bread pizza
8. Typed up some notes from espanol

8 THINGS I WISH I COULD DO:

* Take a Hawaiian vacation
* Go to culinary school
* Move more of this stuff myself (Chiari and My Stupid Leg have made it clear I can't do much)
* Have company actually come visit us
* Live closer to the people who we love and love us
* Take the family on a tour around the world
* Pay off our bills, our family's bills, our friend's bills and then donate a
bunch of money to charities that matter to me
* Buy a HD TV (thankful for cable right now)

I thought I was done with the DISboards stuff, really I did. However, the hypocricy and racism displayed by Webmaster Pete and others on a memorial show is deplorable. Wal Mart Your Zone $500.00 Gift Card Contest!

For several months now, I have participated in WalMart 's Beyond Eleven Moms, a collective of bloggers who partner with WalMart to give feedback on products already in stores and ideas about products that the company can offer in their stores. Last month, I was approached to help test out a new product line in the stores. Many retailers offer room decor for youngsters and college students, but affordable furniture, bedding and decor for teens was hard to find. Enter Your Zone ! We were sent a $500.00 WalMart gift card and given a mission: redo a bedroom whatever way you like within that amount for your teen. If you asked me to do it anywhere else, I think I could buy a bed and a dresser and be done. The whole point of Your Zone is that your teen can change things without breaking the bank. First up, let's find a bed! The beds the boys have are the bunk beds we bought at Ikea back when Chef graduated out of a crib.

Webmaster Alex speaks Anonymously

**Please note, this post was written in 2008, over 7 years ago.  This is not current, but remains to detail the DISboards bannings.** The other day, I wrote of my banning from the Disboards, a site I belonged to for six years. I was banned for participating in another site, as were approximately 35 others. The list will be posted further in this entry. If you skip this post because it doesn't mean anything except to the participants, I don't mind. This is mainly out there for the hundreds (over 7,500 now!**) of Google searches that have been directed to my blog since the bannings. Lord knows, anytime anyone asks a question on the Disboards, it'll be poofed faster than you can say "delete." Curiously, I received an anonymous comment that rambled on and on.
