What Kind of Fire?

Ed was scoping the late night television choices and draws my attention to this



Which begs several questions:

Which one was caught dancing, therefore bringing God's wrath upon the family?

or

Which one snapped and decided to set the house aflame? I said Ginger Jinger, because her name is spelled wrong. Ed says Jackson, because he always looks like he's plotting something.

It wasn't anything that interesting. No, a few of the Duggar girls decided to join the fire department and discover that skirts are not regulation fire fighting attire.

**Please note, this post was written in 2008, over 7 years ago.  This is not current, but remains to detail the DISboards bannings.** The other day, I wrote of my banning from the Disboards, a site I belonged to for six years. I was banned for participating in another site, as were approximately 35 others. The list will be posted further in this entry. If you skip this post because it doesn't mean anything except to the participants, I don't mind. This is mainly out there for the hundreds (over 7,500 now!**) of Google searches that have been directed to my blog since the bannings. When You Think It Can't Get Any Worse, Life Dumps More Crap on Us

Some serious crap, too. Since last year, I've not written about a certain family member because she was giving Ed grief that I wasn't sensitive to her health issues. More like, I don't raise the white flag at whatever life throws at me, and my personal need to find out everything about a health issue that pertains to me or a loved one goes directly against her nature. She'd rather give up than try. Right now, I'm scared, angry and don't know what to do. The silence here about someone was okay-until it hit MY household. Last Thursday, I received a phone call at 5:05 to 'come look at Jane's leg'. She's had venous stasis ulcers for about two months. That may sound familiar, because I had two of them that were detailed here on the blog. Why I was called, and not her doctor, I don't know.
