Seeing My Future

My friend Jenn had surgery today, the same one I'm headed for when the semester is over. She's a trouper, even asking me to come hang out with her for a few hours tonight.

It was good to spend time just hanging out, and seeing how well she was doing. We talked about how the surgery and recovery was several hours out, and since we talk nearly every day, I'll kind of know what to expect week by week post-op. Sometimes, friends do you a really big favor unintentionally. ;)

Your entry reminds me of my wife's deal. I made an entry after her visit yesterday was complete. A tale of 3 doctor's with 3 different results. Why does such a thing happen?

I don't get that, either-but that's why we go for second opinions!

My neurologist initially had one opinion and it was based of the radiologist's summary. I'd done my own research and asked him to look at the lateral (axial) view of C4-C7 and then he realized that 'you're just going to have to live with this' isn't exactly right.
