Rita's First Day of Spring Free Ices

For about 4 or 5 years, we didn't miss the free ices from the Rita's in Frederick. Now, we've lived in Lakeland just over 6 years, and we've enjoyed 5 years of free ices. I think I have pictures of Ed at just about all of them!

I was full from our sushi dinner, so half of mine is still in my freezer. Yay!

The Rita's in our neighborhood is right near the 7-11. I stopped by the 7-11 and had trouble getting into the parking lot because of the line of cars waiting to get into the very small lot at Rita's.

Wal Mart Your Zone $500.00 Gift Card Contest!

For several months now, I have participated in WalMart 's Beyond Eleven Moms, a collective of bloggers who partner with WalMart to give feedback on products already in stores and ideas about products that the company can offer in their stores. Last month, I was approached to help test out a new product line in the stores. Webmaster Alex speaks Anonymously

**Please note, this post was written in 2008, over 7 years ago.  This is not current, but remains to detail the DISboards bannings.** The other day, I wrote of my banning from the Disboards, a site I belonged to for six years. I was banned for participating in another site, as were approximately 35 others. The list will be posted further in this entry. If you skip this post because it doesn't mean anything except to the participants, I don't mind. This is mainly out there for the hundreds (over 7,500 now!**) of Google searches that have been directed to my blog since the bannings. Lord knows, anytime anyone asks a question on the Disboards, it'll be poofed faster than you can say "delete." Curiously, I received an anonymous comment that rambled on and on.
