Gimme a T! I! R! E! D!

Okay, so I lied. I thought I'd be done with inventory at 2am. More like 6am! Ack! I was supposed to go back at 11am, thankfully my fellow manager took pity on me and stayed-I went in at 5pm and showed her how to close. Still have to figure out how I'm going to make up those hours and thinking I may ask to use some of the 40 hours of sick time I lose on the 31st.

I went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast with three coworkers, drove one home, and then got home by 8am. I tried to contact the manager who was off today and didn't participate in inventory to cover for me-no dice. Fortunately, I got *some* sleep-kids were very quiet, by their standards.

Probably heading to bed in a few...I'm sure I'll sleep well.

Wal Mart Your Zone $500.00 Gift Card Contest!

For several months now, I have participated in WalMart 's Beyond Eleven Moms, a collective of bloggers who partner with WalMart to give feedback on products already in stores and ideas about products that the company can offer in their stores. Last month, I was approached to help test out a new product line in the stores. Many retailers offer room decor for youngsters and college students, but affordable furniture, bedding and decor for teens was hard to find. Enter Your Zone ! Webmaster Alex speaks Anonymously

**Please note, this post was written in 2008, over 7 years ago.  This is not current, but remains to detail the DISboards bannings.** The other day, I wrote of my banning from the Disboards, a site I belonged to for six years. I was banned for participating in another site, as were approximately 35 others. The list will be posted further in this entry. If you skip this post because it doesn't mean anything except to the participants, I don't mind. This is mainly out there for the hundreds (over 7,500 now!**) of Google searches that have been directed to my blog since the bannings. Lord knows, anytime anyone asks a question on the Disboards, it'll be poofed faster than you can say "delete." Curiously, I received an anonymous comment that rambled on and on.
