Busy week and bad news

Knee deep in inventory stuff, but it ends tonight with the actual inventory. Scheduled unti 2am. I'm hoping it's not that late, but realistic that it probably will be.

Got a phone call last night, the kind that you don't like to hear. Two of my oldest and dearest friends dad passed away yesterday. Mr. B was a kind and gentle man, married to his wife for 46 years and leaves behind a beautiful family. Last time I saw him was last year at WDW, and got to see the whole B clan. Just an all around nice person-I pray for strength for his family.

My stepdad called to yack today. Still not used to this, but it was good. :) Commiserating that we moved AWAY from the cold.

Wal Mart Your Zone $500.00 Gift Card Contest!

For several months now, I have participated in WalMart 's Beyond Eleven Moms, a collective of bloggers who partner with WalMart to give feedback on products already in stores and ideas about products that the company can offer in their stores. Last month, I was approached to help test out a new product line in the stores. Many retailers offer room decor for youngsters and college students, but affordable furniture, bedding and decor for teens was hard to find. Enter Your Zone ! Webmaster Alex speaks Anonymously

**Please note, this post was written in 2008, over 7 years ago.  This is not current, but remains to detail the DISboards bannings.** The other day, I wrote of my banning from the Disboards, a site I belonged to for six years. I was banned for participating in another site, as were approximately 35 others. The list will be posted further in this entry. If you skip this post because it doesn't mean anything except to the participants, I don't mind. This is mainly out there for the hundreds (over 7,500 now!**) of Google searches that have been directed to my blog since the bannings. Lord knows, anytime anyone asks a question on the Disboards, it'll be poofed faster than you can say "delete." Curiously, I received an anonymous comment that rambled on and on.
