Backordered

My behavioral theory class has not one, but two assigned textbooks. We will cover all 34 chapters of these books in the 15 weeks of the semester. It makes me glad to know that I'm only taking two classes this semester when there is this much reading to be done.

Except-the books are back ordered. Here I am, with a three day weekend. I will be doing work-related stuff, but it sure would have been nice to get those five chapters due by Saturday done today, to keep myself a week ahead all semester long. Instead, I'll have that five chapters to read as soon as I get the books, then head into the next four chapters soon afterwards.

It will get done, but I'd much rather be ahead than playing catch up all semester....

Wal Mart Your Zone $500.00 Gift Card Contest!

For several months now, I have participated in WalMart 's Beyond Eleven Moms, a collective of bloggers who partner with WalMart to give feedback on products already in stores and ideas about products that the company can offer in their stores. Last month, I was approached to help test out a new product line in the stores. Webmaster Alex speaks Anonymously

**Please note, this post was written in 2008, over 7 years ago.  This is not current, but remains to detail the DISboards bannings.** The other day, I wrote of my banning from the Disboards, a site I belonged to for six years. I was banned for participating in another site, as were approximately 35 others. The list will be posted further in this entry. If you skip this post because it doesn't mean anything except to the participants, I don't mind. This is mainly out there for the hundreds (over 7,500 now!**) of Google searches that have been directed to my blog since the bannings. Lord knows, anytime anyone asks a question on the Disboards, it'll be poofed faster than you can say "delete." Curiously, I received an anonymous comment that rambled on and on.
