Poster Child For Compliant Patients

The only thing that one really can do for a blood clot is wait it out. I'm impatient, though.

Nurse M tells me that I am the poster child for compliant patients. Basically, I've had everything go wrong that can, so I know how to deal with it.

So, for now, the things I am doing to make this clot resolve:

Heat

Elevation

Compression

Benedryl cream for itchiness

Aleve for pain (hasn't needed more, but I have if needed)

Wait

Waiting is not what I am good at doing. The rest, however, I can handle.

Wal Mart Your Zone $500.00 Gift Card Contest!

For several months now, I have participated in WalMart 's Beyond Eleven Moms, a collective of bloggers who partner with WalMart to give feedback on products already in stores and ideas about products that the company can offer in their stores. Last month, I was approached to help test out a new product line in the stores. Webmaster Alex speaks Anonymously

**Please note, this post was written in 2008, over 7 years ago.  This is not current, but remains to detail the DISboards bannings.** The other day, I wrote of my banning from the Disboards, a site I belonged to for six years. I was banned for participating in another site, as were approximately 35 others. The list will be posted further in this entry. If you skip this post because it doesn't mean anything except to the participants, I don't mind. This is mainly out there for the hundreds (over 7,500 now!**) of Google searches that have been directed to my blog since the bannings. Lord knows, anytime anyone asks a question on the Disboards, it'll be poofed faster than you can say "delete." Curiously, I received an anonymous comment that rambled on and on.
