Traditions

It's the last week of school, so that means I'm making lunch for the faculty and staff at GameTeen's school again.

This time, they're getting pulled pork, homemade macaroni and cheese, and a variation on the Galley Salad that used to be served at the Columbia Harbor House in Walt Disney World (my favorite).   Between this, and some hummus for one of the teachers who is vegan, there should be plenty to feed everyone-and have a nice dinner here tomorrow night.

I feel bad, the tahini to make homemade hummus was $12.00 for an 8 ounce jar at the local supermarket, so I grabbed a package of Sabra instead.  It's good, but there's nothing like a good, fresh hummus that has a good lemon zing and is full of fresh roasted garlic.

After tomorrow, the planning begins anew: what to make for the holiday meal that gives the staff something different.  :)
